Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior Cybersecurity Manager / Product & Solutions Security Officer (PSSO) to join our team. The PSSO will play a crucial role in actively driving product and solution security. You will provide expert advice to executive management, product management, project management, R&D heads, and manufacturing heads on security matters related to all Siemens products, solutions, and services. In this multi-functional role, you will collaborate with the Head of Cyber Security and the Principal PSSO to develop and implement effective security processes and structures, ensuring that security is top of mind across the entire Rail Infrastructure spectrum. This role will be responsible for driving the security strategy in alignment with the Company Security Strategy and will collaborate with the Principal PSSO and the Head of Cyber Security.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Provide expert advice on security matters to various partners within the organization.
  • Collaborate with executive management and key customers to develop and implement security processes and structures.
  • Drive the security strategy in alignment with the Company Security Strategy
  • Advise on compliance with domain-specific standards and regulations.
  • Handle incidents and vulnerabilities effectively.
  • Develop discernment and drive innovation and change.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their security needs.
  • Implement and promote security activities and standard methodologies throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Stay updated with Cybersecurity technologies and domain-specific products or software platforms.
  • Conduct quality audits and assessments related to product and solution security.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Manage conflicts and make informed decisions.
  • Lead the organization to higher PSS maturity
  • Build networks and partnerships to enhance security initiatives.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity (product Security) roles, such as security analyst, security engineer, or security consultant. This should also be complemented with some combination of technical expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and Cybersecurity technologies
  • Solid understanding and experience in product lifecycle management processes (PLM)
  • Superb communication and interpersonal collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead without authority and handle conflicts effectively.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and change.
  • Exceptional business knowledge and customer understanding
  • Leadership and hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and leading cybersecurity solutions.

The base salary range for this position in New York, NY is $186,100 - $252,552 and the base salary range in Pittsburgh, PA is $149,328 - $201,960. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications. The annual incentive target is 15% of the base salary.

The pay range for this position is $149,328 - $252,552 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
