As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer for Navista at Cardinal Health, you will lead technical initiatives powering oncology applications. This hands-on role involves designing robust CI/CD pipelines and multi-cloud platforms across GCP, Azure, and on-premises data centers. You will enforce DevSecOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) standards to ensure secure, reliable, and automated delivery of mission-critical applications serving community oncology practices.
Reporting to engineering leadership, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance delivery velocity, security, and reliability. This US-nationwide remote position offers a disclosed salary range of $123,400 - $176,300 USD annually, with potential for higher compensation based on experience.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Harness, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Concourse. Implement branching strategies, build automation, artifact management, and release governance to ensure high-quality deployments for Navista applications.
Apply SRE principles by defining SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and capacity planning. Establish robust monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks to partner with product teams on reliability, performance, and velocity.
Lead implementation of security controls within CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and deployments. Ensure HIPAA and HITECH compliance through vulnerability scanning, secure credential management, audit logging, and quality gates across development, staging, and production.
Provision and manage infrastructure-as-code with Terraform for consistent multi-cloud (GCP, Azure) and on-prem environments. Optimize Kubernetes services, VMs, networking, and storage for high availability and cost efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive improvements. Evaluate emerging tools, document architectures, and mentor engineers to foster a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.
Experience: 8-12 years in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, with exposure to infrastructure, security, networking, and data analytics.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
