Position Summary

As a Senior Drilling Engineer in Midland, TX, you’ll lead the design and execution of safe, efficient, cost-effective drilling programs for unconventional assets. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to manage well planning from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals, regulatory standards, and operational integrity. What You Will Do

Lead Drilling Programs

Develop detailed well plans aligning safety, cost, and performance objectives. Guide operations from planning through execution.

Ensure Compliance & Support Operations

Prepare permits, maintain federal/state/company standards, provide daily onsite guidance, and troubleshoot challenges.

Optimize & Innovate

Analyze drilling data for efficiency gains, track metrics, benchmark practices, and standardize processes with lessons learned.

Collaborate & Mentor

Work with asset, planning, finance teams on cost estimates; evaluate vendors; share knowledge via networks and societies; mentor in a one-team culture.

What We Are Looking For

Basic Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years drilling engineering or operations experience
• Willing and able to work in safety-sensitive role
