Role Overview
Join MongoDB as a Senior Engineer, Coupa & P2P Processes and become the subject matter expert for our global procurement and finance workflows. This critical role owns the Coupa platform and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, driving automation, scalability, and efficiency across MongoDB's modern developer data platform. Based in Bengaluru or Gurugram with our hybrid model, you'll partner with Finance, Procurement, Accounting, and Technology teams to deliver robust systems that support our 60,000+ customers including 75% of Fortune 100.

Key Responsibilities at MongoDB
- Own Coupa P2P System: Complete ownership of design, configuration, administration, upgrades, and support for MongoDB's primary procurement platform
- Process Re-architecture: Analyze current workflows and partner with stakeholders to redesign for maximum efficiency, compliance, and scalability
- Automation Leadership: Identify manual processes across requisition-to-payment and implement intelligent workflow automation
- Enterprise Integrations: Manage connections between Coupa, NetSuite ERP, Concur expenses, HRIS, and banking platforms using APIs, middleware, and ETL pipelines
- Data Governance: Ensure end-to-end data integrity, reconciliation, and accuracy across MongoDB's global finance ecosystem
- Compliance & Security: Maintain SOX compliance, audit readiness, user permissions, and role-based security within Coupa

- Technical Leadership: Mentor engineers, document solutions, translate business needs into technical architecture, and drive change adoption
- Stakeholder Partnership: Serve as primary advisor to Finance and Procurement leaders on system strategy and optimization
Qualifications & Requirements
To succeed in this role at MongoDB, you'll need:
- 8+ years hands-on experience with Coupa administration and P2P processes in enterprise environments
- Deep knowledge of ERP integrations (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) with procurement platforms
- Proven success delivering automation and workflow optimization projects that reduced cycle times
- Strong understanding of global finance operations: requisitions, POs, 3-way matching, payments, compliance
