Role Overview
Join MongoDB's innovative engineering team as a Senior NetSuite Engineer in Gurugram, Haryana, India. As the modern developer data platform, MongoDB powers mission-critical financial systems worldwide. This role owns NetSuite technical architecture while leveraging MongoDB Atlas for scalable data management across Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), and core accounting processes.
Partner with Finance, Revenue Operations, Tax, and IT to design solutions enabling accurate financial reporting, operational efficiency, and GAAP/IFRS compliance. The ideal candidate combines deep accounting knowledge with hands-on NetSuite configuration, SuiteScript 2.x development, and MongoDB NoSQL expertise to support complex revenue models, multi-entity environments, and close automation in our hybrid Gurugram office.
MongoDB's flexible document model perfectly complements NetSuite's ERP capabilities, enabling real-time revenue recognition, subscription billing, and multi-currency consolidations at enterprise scale. Key Responsibilities at MongoDB
- Act as senior technical lead for NetSuite + MongoDB Atlas architecture across O2C and R2R processes
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable solutions using native NetSuite config and MongoDB data pipelines
- Lead architecture decisions for subsidiaries, accounting books, and NoSQL integrations
- Own end-to-end O2C: Quotes → Sales Orders → Billing → Revenue Recognition → Cash Application powered by MongoDB
- Configure advanced revenue recognition (ASC 606, SSP, fair value) with real-time MongoDB analytics
- Design R2R workflows for GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Intercompany using aggregation pipelines
- Develop SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, custom dashboards integrated with MongoDB KPIs
- Build robust Salesforce-NetSuite-MongoDB integrations ensuring data accuracy and error handling
- Implement SOX controls, audit documentation, and role-based MongoDB access management
- Mentor junior engineers on NetSuite + modern data platform best practices
Qualifications & Requirements
- 7–10+ years NetSuite ERP experience with proven O2C/R2R implementations
- Hands-on SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder development expertise
- Deep knowledge of revenue recognition (ASC 606), multi-entity accounting
- MongoDB or NoSQL experience strongly preferred for data warehouse integrations
- SaaS/subscription billing experience with usage-based revenue models
- Experience supporting month-end close processes and revenue teams
