Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close sales pipelines to drive new customer acquisition
  • Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users

  • Partner with Solution Architects for technical validation and proof-of-concepts
  • Collaborate with Professional Services to maximize customer satisfaction and adoption
  • Work with enterprise ecosystem partners and channels to increase deal sizes
  • Formulate and execute territory sales strategies for sustained revenue growth
  • Participate in Sales Bootcamp, advanced training, and leadership development programs

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 4+ years quota-carrying field sales experience in fast-paced, competitive markets
  • Demonstrated ability to grow enterprise accounts and manage complex sales processes
  • Proven track record of overachievement and consistently hitting sales quotas
  • Expertise in articulating business value of complex enterprise technologies like NoSQL
  • Skilled in building business champions at executive and technical levels
  • Driven, competitive mindset with strong desire for personal and professional success
  • Previous training in sales methodologies (MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales) preferred
  • Passion for databases, developers, and open source technology is a plus

Salary & Benefits
