Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close a robust sales pipeline targeting enterprise accounts
  • Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical decision-makers
  • Build strong relationships that create expansion opportunities and customer loyalty
  • Partner with Solution Architects to architect MongoDB solutions for complex workloads
  • Collaborate with Professional Services to drive customer success and renewals
  • Maximize deal sizes through enterprise ecosystem and channel partner relationships
  • Execute territory sales strategy resulting in consistent revenue growth
  • Participate in sales enablement including MEDDIC training and leadership development
  • Leverage MongoDB's AI capabilities to position against relational databases

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 4+ years quota-carrying experience in fast-paced enterprise software sales
  • Proven overachievement with consistent sales target attainment
  • Enterprise account growth expertise managing complex sales cycles
  • Technical articulation skills explaining NoSQL and database value propositions
  • Business champion building with C-level executives and technical buyers
  • Competitive drive and passion for the database software market
