Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close a robust sales pipeline targeting enterprise accounts.
  • Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users using data-driven approaches.
  • Build strong relationships that uncover growth opportunities and long-term partnerships.
  • Partner with Solution Architects to design MongoDB solutions for complex workloads.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction and adoption.
  • Work with ecosystem and channel partners to expand deal sizes and accelerate wins.
  • Execute territory sales strategies focused on new logo acquisition in the Nordics.
  • Leverage MEDDIC or Challenger Sales methodologies to navigate enterprise deals.
  • Articulate MongoDB's business value for modernizing legacy systems and unleashing AI innovation.
  • Drive overachievement against quotas in a competitive, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 4+ years quota-carrying experience in field sales within fast-paced, competitive markets like SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Proven track record of opening new accounts and managing end-to-end complex sales processes.
  • Consistent overachievement of sales targets with documented quota attainment.
  • Expertise in articulating value of complex technologies, ideally databases or NoSQL solutions.
  • Skill in building business champions among technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Highly driven and competitive, with passion for career growth in database sales.
