Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

• Partner with IT, People, & Finance teams to modernize and automate forecasting tools, focusing on workforce planning using platforms like Workday Adaptive Planning or Pigment.
• Define requirements and implement FP&A solutions in a multi-year planning systems upgrade.
• Manage the company’s planning process and calendar, ensuring clear timelines and deliverables for all stakeholders.
• Lead corporate-level forecast consolidation in a fast-moving ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain management reporting for senior executives including CEO, CFO, SVP of Finance, and Board of Directors.
• Forecast global budget items like payroll taxes, benefits, and allocations.
• Document FP&A processes, create central onboarding materials, and streamline operations.
• Handle system integrations and reconciliations (ERP to planning tools, HRIS to headcount models), diagnosing issues with technical teams.
• Champion advancements in analyses, tools, systems, and controls within MongoDB's high-growth environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, or economics (preferred).
• 3+ years in FP&A or Corporate Finance with focus on planning systems, data, and tooling (system admin, model builder, power user).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise planning platforms like Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Pigment; implementation experience a plus.
• Expertise in financial modeling and data management in Google Sheets/Excel, handling large multi-tab models with checks/controls.
• Proven system integrations experience (ERP → planning, HRIS → models) and issue resolution.
• Excellent communication: Translate complex topics for Finance, Accounting, People, and partners.
• Highly organized, process-oriented, thriving in high-growth environments like MongoDB.
