Role Overview

As a Senior Food Safety Specialist at PepsiCo's Moscow Cherrizon Plant, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of our food production processes. This position demands a proactive leader who can implement and enhance the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in line with PepsiCo standards, Russian Federation legislation, FSSC 22000, and AIB requirements. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will encompass a wide range of critical tasks essential to maintaining PepsiCo's commitment to food safety:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the FSMS, including procedures, instructions, and staff training across all levels.
  • Perform comprehensive risk analyses for raw materials, production processes, finished products, and projects affecting food safety.
  • Identify critical control points, develop operational prerequisite programs, and create HACCP plans.
  • Plan and execute validation and verification activities to ensure product safety.
  • Oversee sanitation, hygiene, GMP compliance, personnel hygiene rules, pest control (deratization, disinsection), and disinfection efforts.
  • Lead internal FSMS audits and manage preparations for external audits, including corrective and preventive actions.

Leadership in Audits and Compliance

You will lead cross-functional teams during audits, analyze contractor reports for pest control, and track the effectiveness of corrective measures, ensuring continuous improvement in food safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A higher education degree in food production, quality systems, microbiology, chemistry, or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position, such as food technologist, microbiologist engineer, quality specialist, hygiene manager, or sanitary doctor, preferably in food production with audit experience.
  • Strong leadership qualities: ability to defend viewpoints, adapt to changes, make decisive actions, lead teams, and apply a risk-oriented approach.
  • Proven experience in personnel training.
  • Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.

Preferred Experience
