Key Responsibilities at Datadog

• Manage comprehensive financial forecasts covering revenue, ARR, bookings, sales attainment, customer metrics, sales capacity, product expenses, headcount planning, workforce optimization, and cash flow projections—translating insights into executive recommendations.
• Partner closely with senior business leaders in go-to-market (GTM) teams including sales, pre-sales, and post-sales, plus Product, Engineering, and G&A functions to shape budgets and monitor performance against targets.
• Collaborate on quarterly Board materials with finance management, handling coordination, data consolidation, and stakeholder alignment for high-stakes presentations.
• Work hand-in-hand with Accounting on monthly and quarterly flux analysis, financial close processes, and variance reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead planning and budgeting cycles organization-wide, standardizing tools, templates, and processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Master financial planning tools like Pigment, business intelligence platforms such as Tableau and Metabase, and integrate them with Datadog's observability data for deeper insights.
• Perform ROI and profitability analyses across regions and sales channels, empowering data-driven decisions in our consumption-based SaaS model.
• Drive ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives for senior management, dissecting business challenges, modeling scenarios, and proposing innovative solutions tied to cloud observability growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3+ years in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or equivalent, with hands-on experience in high-growth tech or SaaS environments.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field.
• Excel mastery and PowerPoint expertise: Proven track record building complex financial models, managing large datasets, and creating executive presentations.
• Exceptional communicator who thrives in team settings with a humble, 'can-do' attitude—essential for cross-functional partnerships at Datadog.
• Understanding of consumption-based software business models, ARR metrics, and cloud economics (critical for Datadog's observability platform).
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Pigment, or similar tools is a strong plus.
