Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

• Design and implement scalable Backstage features for MongoDB’s developer portal using MongoDB, Node.js, and React.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to optimize developer workflows and internal tooling.
• Lead architectural decisions for highly scalable distributed systems.
• Write clean, performant code with TypeScript/JavaScript and ensure maintainability through best practices.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Leverage Kubernetes and Helm for infrastructure-as-code deployments.
• Build robust service catalogs via API integrations and service discovery mechanisms.
• Conduct unit testing with Cypress, Jest, or Playwright and promote automated testing.
• Mentor team members, review technical designs, and drive technical roadmaps.
• Troubleshoot production issues and deploy code to live environments.
