As a key player in Rivian's supply chain, you'll negotiate software licensing agreements (on-prem & SaaS), conduct spend analysis, and lead quarterly business reviews to ensure suppliers deliver on cost, quality, and timelines. Key Responsibilities at Rivian

In this dynamic role, you'll own the end-to-end sourcing process. Here are your core action-oriented tasks:

• Oversee IT Software sourcing for on-prem and SaaS sub-categories, with plus experience in Hardware, Telecom, and Professional Services.
• Negotiate software licensing agreements in line with industry standards, achieving cost savings and optimal terms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet technical requirements, execute milestones, and track sourcing progress.
• Independently facilitate the 7-step strategic sourcing process: supplier identification, RFx, bid analysis, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Operate autonomously on new purchases, renewals, evaluations, and amendments under aggressive timelines.
• Drive detailed project plans while delivering cost savings through in-depth supplier quotation and historical spend analysis.
• Lead sourcing projects, develop strategies, manage RFx, and present award recommendations to senior leadership.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers to ensure alignment, performance, and value delivery.
• Perform spend analysis and cross-functional assessments to meet Rivian’s cost, quality, and timeline objectives.
• Build strong supplier and stakeholder partnerships in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as Rivian's Senior Global Supply Manager, IT, you need proven expertise. Key requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of relevant Information Technology (IT) related software licensing experience.
• 8+ years performing strategic sourcing, cost analysis, negotiations, and contract management in indirect procurement.
• Experience with ERP systems like Coupa for purchase order processing (preferred).
• Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) experience with Ironclad (preferred).
• Deep knowledge of Sourcing-to-Pay (S2P) best practices and the 7-step sourcing process.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and adapt to change in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills, detail-oriented mindset, and proactive problem-solving.

Rivian offers competitive compensation tailored to location:

• Michigan (Plymouth): $98,500 - $123,100 USD/year
• Irvine, CA: $107,800 - $134,800 USD/year
• Palo Alto, CA: $117,200 - $146,500 USD/year
