  • Develop, review, and maintain hardware design documents (schematics, BOM, design calculations).
  • Drive PCB design, development, and review for high-reliability embedded systems.
  • Ensure hardware design compliance with SIL-4 safety integrity level and relevant railway standards.
  • Collaborate with safety and RAMS teams for FMEA, FTA, reliability analysis, and safety case preparation.

  • Support audits, certification processes, and customer/ISA reviews.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
  • 8–10 years of experience in hardware design and development for embedded/safety-critical systems.
  • Strong background in microcontroller, microprocessor, and FPGA-based hardware design.
  • Proven experience with PCB development (schematic capture, layout review, EMI/EMC considerations).
  • Hands-on experience with SIL-4 hardware design and functional safety standards (EN 50126/8/9, EN 50129).
  • Experience with RAMS (FMEA, FTA, MTBF calculations, reliability analysis).
  • Familiarity with design tools (Altium, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, etc.).
