Position Summary
The Senior Industrial Electrician reports to the Plant Engineer and ensures high equipment reliability through maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements. As the go-to expert for electronics and PLCs, you'll minimize downtime, manage systems up to 480V, and drive process enhancements in our state-of-the-art facility. This full-time, M-F 7:30AM–3:30PM role offers competitive pay of $40.15–$42.36/hr.
Key Responsibilities
- Pass rigorous electrical skills and safety testing to qualify as Category 2 worker for 480V systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation for printed logic, electronic files, and software as resident PLC resource.
- Handle maintenance, hardware setup, application evaluation, and department training on electronics/PLCs.
- Identify obsolete systems, research solutions, and provide scopes/cost estimates for upgrades.
- Support PM duties, projects, breakdown maintenance, and inventory management with the Maintenance Planner.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years' industrial experience focused on electrical and PLC systems.
- Strong proficiency in electronics, PLCs (especially Allen-Bradley), programming, and software.
- Skilled in writing/re-writing/creating programs with understanding of mechanical/electrical applications.
- Proficient computer skills including word processing and related software.
