Role Overview

As a Senior Information Security Platform Engineer on the SecureCode team within Nike's Application Security Consulting group, you'll be at the forefront of embedding security into Nike's engineering ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Information Security Engineering Consulting, ITC, you'll collaborate across Corporate Information Security, engineering, data, and product teams. This role demands bridging USA (PST/EST), EMEA, and India time zones to deliver metrics-driven security insights, automate data pipelines with GenAI, and integrate AST tools into CI/CD. Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you'll tackle high-impact tasks that elevate Nike's application security:

• Design and implement cybersecurity metrics like KPIs and KRIs to measure control effectiveness and program reach.
• Build centralized reporting with Tableau, PowerBI, and Databricks for real-time security dashboards.
• Analyze vast datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable security insights.
• Partner with global DevOps teams to embed security tools into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Craft executive reports and committee summaries on security posture and risk trends.
• Maintain documentation repositories for compliance and process optimization.
• Track industry trends, regulations, and app sec best practices to keep Nike ahead.

Qualifications & Requirements

Nike seeks proven leaders with technical depth and business acumen:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business Information Management, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in information security, app sec engineering, or cybersecurity consulting.
• Expertise in AST tools: SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOM analysis, Mobile AST.
• Strong CI/CD integration with GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Python scripting, API development, handling structured/semi-structured/unstructured data.
• Hands-on with SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB), Databricks; ETL and API ingestion.
• Familiarity with AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, Bedrock, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, RDS), cloud-native/serverless architectures.
• Threat modeling, secure design reviews; security standards and regulations.
• Exceptional communication for technical/executive audiences; analytical problem-solving.
• Cross-functional leadership in global matrixed environments.
• Preferred: CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP, CISM, CRISC.
