Key Responsibilities

In this senior-level role, you'll apply your expertise to a wide array of tasks, working with limited supervision while occasionally guiding junior team members. Core duties include:

  • Installing and connecting mechanical and electrical systems, such as motors, compressors, control units, fans, evaporators, and power sources, while setting precise controls.
  • Fabricating, installing, and joining facility components like metal equipment, ducts, pipes, valves, filters, and plumbing based on detailed blueprints and specifications.
  • Constructing, maintaining, painting, and repairing building structures including walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, and doors.
  • Conducting equipment maintenance through disassembly, cleaning, part replacement, preventive maintenance (PMs), and inventory management of spare parts.
  • Maintaining facility water systems, inspecting/repairing safety and fire equipment, and assisting with HVAC controls.
  • Diagnosing and resolving pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical malfunctions with repairs, rebuilds, and adjustments.
  • Adjusting automatic and semi-automatic machines for optimal production quality, including component installation and control regulation.
  • Reporting irreparable issues, consulting on electrical problems, and recommending equipment modifications.
  • Complying with all federal regulations, EH&S policies, and actively participating in safety training.
  • Utilizing hand tools, welding, cutting, bending, and power tools; preparing documentation; and supporting overtime or machine operation as needed.
