The Senior Manager, Marketing Capability & Operations role in Shanghai is pivotal in elevating China marketing capabilities through strategic partnership with PepsiCo's Global Marketing Capability & Operations team. This position focuses on developing and deploying world-class marketing content to build talent advantage and iconic brands. You'll lead the delivery and embedding of global transformation programs, enhancing brand-building capabilities, embedding PepsiCo's growth model, and driving efficiencies for reinvestment in key initiatives. Reporting to senior marketing leadership, this role demands a change agent mindset to orchestrate transformation within the China Operating Unit (OU).
Provide strategic input from China to enable, launch, and remove barriers for embedding the PPG Marketing transformation. Focus on Growth Navigator, Iconic Brands, and A&M Excellence. Lead the Marketing Capability & Operations team to sustain change across PepsiCo's anchor market in China.
Build and deploy a holistic capability programming calendar, including upskilling on Growth Navigator, Iconic Brands, and Human Centricity using global PPG Marketing Academy materials. Offer ongoing coaching on brand artifacts like Brand Pulse, CBPs, DBAs, and growth planning documents such as BGS and TCP briefs. Establish governance processes for key deliverables to ensure oversight and accountability.
Align with Global Marketing Capabilities for deployment tracking. Ensure full adoption of global tools like Ada Amplify+, TCP frameworks, and new templates. Serve as Creative Excellence Champion, overseeing Category Creative forums, Market Creative reviews, and external awards processes like Cannes, Effies, and BAM.
Lead GN rollout strategy across China OU, including deep dives, organizational embedding, scorecards, and integration into growth planning milestones. Partner with CMO and Global VP to escalate roadblocks and drive priorities.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field, with at least 10 years of marketing experience, preferably including brand management at PepsiCo. Strong leadership, organizational savvy, high learning agility, and project management skills are essential. Proven ability to build relationships and manage senior stakeholders is required. Experience in Learning and Development, training content creation, and centers of excellence is highly advantageous. Knowledge of PepsiCo's marketing organization will accelerate success in this role.
