Role Overview

As Senior Manager - MDM (Master Data Management) in Hyderabad, Telangana, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering accurate and timely SAP master data setups and registrations. This role is pivotal in supporting PepsiCo's Global Capability Centers (GCC) for lead global markets and operating units. You will enable key business initiatives including Innovations, Reformulations, Productivity, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and Transformation programs. Serving as the operational owner for SAP Setups, you will manage workload prioritization, ensure Right First Time (RFT) quality, documentation, training, and escalations. As the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will liaise with Global Process Leads (GPL) and cross-functional stakeholders such as Commercialisation, Finance, Transformation, Customer Services, Regulatory Affairs (RA), Procurement, Productivity, and BCP teams. Your focus will be on alignment, rapid issue resolution, crisis management, process improvements, and developing superusers across the organization.

  • Fostering learning and development by training new and existing team members on processes, role expectations, and issue resolution.
  • Providing guidance to GPLs and other functions on processes and rules to set them up for success.
  • Contributing to enterprise and transformational projects, workshops, and serving as the point of contact for crisis management across functions like customer services, finance, quality, and procurement.
  • Governing processes by authorizing critical changes, checking requests for approvals or Food Safety Standards (FSS), and understanding global change impacts.
  • Aiding in metrics gathering (RFT, projects, hot spots) and driving continuous improvement.
  • Coordinating standard, expedite, and high-priority requests across business areas, approving mass update files, and driving root cause investigations with MDG sustain and IT teams.
  • Developing and maintaining KPIs, supporting automated tools, and ensuring timely stakeholder updates during daily team connects.
  • Adhering to PepsiCo Health & Safety requirements and GCS Standards.
