Role Overview

The Senior Manager-Supply Network Planning-Supply Chain role in Hyderabad, Telangana, is pivotal in PepsiCo's global supply chain operations. This position leads the forecasting analyst team for a specific Business Unit (BU), generating driver-based forecasts as the foundation for the Demand Planning process within IBP. Reporting dotted line to the BU IBP+DP Lead and solid line to the Global Forecasting Lead, you'll ensure the PepsiCo Forecasting Engine (PFE) has the right data, execute models for mid-term (monthly/24 months) and short-term (weekly/16-20 weeks) forecasts, and collaborate with Demand Planners and Data Scientists to boost accuracy. This full-time role demands strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and a deep understanding of FMCG dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

In this leadership role, you'll own the execution and continuous improvement of driver-based forecasting. Key duties include:

• Leading and coordinating a team of forecasting analysts for a designated BU, while handling direct responsibility for critical scopes.
• Serving as the primary contact for BU Demand Planning Leads and Data Scientists.
• Ensuring all demand drivers are captured, data inputs are reconciled, and master data is managed accurately across hierarchies.
• Executing history corrections, outlier management, model runs, and minor adjustments to reflect demand trends.
• Measuring and reporting forecasting KPIs, conducting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvements.
• Collaborating on segmentation calculations, model enhancements, and best practice sharing across PepsiCo.

Collaboration and Innovation

Expect daily collaboration with Demand Planners to align forecasts with business needs and with Data Scientists to refine the PFE through experimentation and validation. Your efforts will directly enable PepsiCo's One Plan vision in IBP/DP.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel, candidates need:

• A Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Finance; an MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years in demand planning or forecasting, with 6+ years at middle management in FMCG.
• Expertise in statistical forecasting, advanced models including machine learning, demand sensing, promotions planning, and scenario management.
• Strong data analysis skills to navigate large datasets, identify gaps, and derive insights.
• Deep knowledge of commercial activities driving FMCG demand, IBP processes, and process discipline.
• Team management experience, strategic/analytical thinking, organizational skills, business acumen, and fluency in English (local language a plus).
