Key Responsibilities at Datadog

• Proactively identify and predict trends, patterns, and drivers of people outcomes such as attrition, career growth, leadership effectiveness, and performance using SQL and BI tools.
• Partner closely with People Business Partners, Recruiting, and senior leadership to conduct custom, scoped analyses, translating ambiguous business questions into structured analyses for priority workforce insights.
• Conduct research studies and analyses to support programmatic decision-making and key initiatives across the employee lifecycle, from hiring to retention.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and recurring metrics readouts (e.g., hiring funnel, performance, movement, retention, sentiment, org design) with tools like Tableau, Looker, or Metabase.
• Maintain high standards of data quality, privacy, and governance when working with sensitive employee information from ATS, HRIS, LMS, and survey platforms.
• Deliver actionable insights that influence global hiring strategies, employee development programs, and retention efforts in a high-growth tech environment.
• Leverage your analytical mindset to uncover the 'why' behind data, supporting Datadog's mission in cloud observability and DevOps.
• Collaborate in a hybrid workplace, contributing to office culture while analyzing remote work impacts on productivity and satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 6+ years in people analytics, go-to-market/sales analytics, or related quantitative role.
• Strong analytical skills with SQL proficiency, Google Sheets expertise, and BI tools (Tableau, Metabase, Looker); Python a plus.
• Familiarity with people systems (ATS, HRIS, LMS, surveys) and employee lifecycle metrics.
• Credible partner to senior leaders, translating complex data into decision-driving insights.
• Curious, analytical mindset focused on root causes; discretion with sensitive data required.
