Key Responsibilities at Datadog
- Act as the primary regional PBP for all employees in Japan, representing our global People team across GTM functions including sales engineering and customer success.
- Advise and coach leadership on performance management, career development, compensation, and organizational scaling tailored to fast-paced tech environments.
- Collaborate with departmental PBPs to manage change initiatives during rapid expansion in cloud monitoring markets.
- Consult with People Centers of Excellence (COE) to design programs enhancing employee experience in a DevOps-centric culture.
- Develop and implement People policies aligned with global standards and Japan-specific employment practices.
- Leverage HR analytics and Workday to provide data-driven insights for strategic people decisions.
- Assess development needs and deploy solutions supporting Datadog's cloud-native growth strategy.
- Resolve complex global employee relations issues, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements
