As Senior Principal, Energy Account Sales, GC in Shanghai, China Mainland, you will spearhead Nike's strategic sales initiatives in the Energy channel within the Greater China (GC) region. This senior leadership role focuses on building powerhouse account relationships, driving revenue growth through neighborhood (NBHD) retail strategies, and leading a high-performing sales team. Reporting to regional sales leadership, you will blend deep retail expertise with enterprise-level planning to create consumer connections that halo across Nike's distribution channels. Build and nurture robust relationships with key customer executives and buyers to collaboratively manage accounts and execute Nike’s tailored account plans across GC. Influence decision-makers to prioritize Nike products and initiatives in the Energy channel.
Develop and oversee comprehensive account strategies, including short- and long-term business plans aimed at revenue growth and financial targets. Lead scenario planning, accurate forecasting, seasonal campaigns, business analysis, and identification of new sales opportunities. Map the NBHD retail marketplace to forge deep consumer connections and amplify halo effects for broader retail channels.
Directly manage the account sales team, handling hiring, development, coaching, rewards, and disciplinary actions. Conduct quarterly performance and development reviews, oversee team decisions on hiring and performance management, resolve employee relations issues, and champion diversity and inclusion.
Articulate account business priorities throughout GC and across functions. Deliver a compelling vision that motivates sales teams and stakeholders in finance, merchandising, product, marketing, and more. Ensure seamless alignment and coordinated execution of business plans with Nike partners.
