Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

• Own the complete strategy and roadmap for critical Atlas components, ensuring customers enjoy frictionless experiences with data tiering and scalability.
• Drive collaboration across engineering, marketing, sales, and executive leadership to align on product vision.
• Lead product decisions through deep engagement with customers, prospects, internal stakeholders, and partners.
• Monitor and analyze market evolution, competition, and emerging technologies to shape product direction.
• Leverage data analytics to measure business impact and continuously refine products toward excellence.
• Partner strategically with field and go-to-market teams during key customer engagements.
• Develop and validate hypotheses with design solutions for handling increasingly large datasets.
• Champion developer needs in building cost-efficient storage and advanced querying capabilities.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as Senior Product Manager, Atlas, you need:

• 5+ years of product management or equivalent with complex technical enterprise products.
• Solid technical foundation – comfortable evaluating database technologies and speaking authoritatively to developers and DevOps engineers.
• Expert proficiency in advanced topics; prior developer or operations experience ideal.
• Proven track record solving problems for developer audiences and launching successful software.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical features into business value and navigate ambiguity.
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience.

Nice-to-haves: Experience with AWS EBS, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Data Lake; regulated industries; MongoDB or database background; passion for innovation.
