Role Overview
Join MongoDB's Internal Data team as a Senior Product Manager - P&T and shape the future of data-as-a-product. Our mission is to power decisions and applications across MongoDB in GTM, Product & Technology, Finance, and HR. This role focuses on delivering scalable, insightful data products for our Product and Technology (P&T) teams who build MongoDB products for external customers.
These data products drive smarter decisions, automate workflows, enable AI agents, and deliver actionable insights that accelerate growth. As part of our Data team—including Data Pipeline/Platform Engineering, Data Architecture, and Data Governance—you'll lead building data pipelines, datasets, reports/dashboards, APIs, ML models, playbooks, and frameworks. You'll enhance traditional data tools to power both AI and BI, forming the backbone of MongoDB's internal data ecosystem.
Drive the vision for internal data products with a focus on telemetry and product adoption/engagement/churn signals. Key Responsibilities at MongoDB
- Lead Product Strategy: Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for Data teams and products using MongoDB's NoSQL advantages.
- Evangelize Data-as-a-Product: Create repeatable solutions with lakehouses and medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold).
- Partner with P&T Teams: Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and leadership to capture needs and deliver impact.
- Performance Analysis: Define KPIs, track trends in scalable data engineering and advanced analytics.
- Stakeholder Enablement: Build documentation, guides, and partner with training for seamless adoption.
