Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

• Own the strategic vision and product roadmap for MongoDB Python ecosystem including drivers and framework integrations
• Champion MongoDB within the Python developer community through forums, conferences, and open-source engagement
• Collaborate with engineering, DevRel, documentation, and community teams to deliver cohesive developer experiences
• Identify Python ecosystem trends and translate developer pain points into actionable product direction
• Drive MongoDB adoption in modern Python stacks like FARM stack and data science workflows
• Build and document sample applications during onboarding to understand real developer experience
• Make evidence-based decisions balancing short-term needs with long-term platform differentiation
• Act as Python ecosystem champion within MongoDB, influencing company-wide strategy
• Engage directly with community to validate direction and build developer trust

Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal candidate combines deep Python development experience with proven product management success:

• 3-5 years product management experience shipping developer tools, APIs, or integrations
• 3-5 years commercial Python web development including Django, FastAPI, Flask (live coding interview required)
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data tools (Pandas, NumPy)
• Familiarity with AI development frameworks like LangChain, Langgraph, LlamaIndex
• Proven ability to distill customer requirements into comprehensive business cases
• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts simply
• Passion for developer experience, continuous learning, and community engagement
