Join MongoDB as a Senior Product Manager, Security and become a key architect of our security strategy. The Security Product Management team at MongoDB is mission-critical, safeguarding customer trust while positioning data security as a market differentiator. You'll lead development of cutting-edge features including Networking, IAM, Data Governance, Encryption, Compliance, and Auditing for the world's leading modern developer data platform.

This role offers flexibility with basing in our New York City office or remote work throughout North America. As MongoDB powers 75% of Fortune 100 companies and AI-native startups, you'll work on security solutions for the most critical data workloads across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

• Develop visionary product strategy for Resource Policies, Secure by Default architecture, and innovative security features minimizing unauthorized access risks.
• Partner with world-class engineering teams to create prioritized product roadmaps and execution backlogs.
• Deep dive into evolving cybersecurity threats and emerging technologies to propose industry-leading innovations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, legal, product marketing, support, sales, and security teams to build customer trust.
• Define KPIs and success metrics ensuring security initiatives align with MongoDB's business objectives.
• Leverage customer insights to drive continuous security product improvements.
• Present security vision and roadmap to executive leadership and industry stakeholders.
• Champion MongoDB Atlas as the secure multi-cloud database platform for enterprise deployments.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this high-impact role, you'll bring:

• 5+ years product management experience in enterprise security or developer platforms
• Proven domain expertise in data security with threat landscape knowledge
• Experience leading security-focused engineering teams in diverse environments
• Track record of influential leadership driving results across engineering, sales, and customer success
• Executive communication skills with stage presence and public speaking comfort
• Demonstrated success defining technical requirements into actionable roadmaps
• Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP cloud platforms
• B.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience

Nice to haves: CISSP certification, security conference speaking experience, advanced degree (MBA/M.Sc.).
