Key Responsibilities at Datadog

Joining Datadog means owning the narrative for our AI security platform. Here's what you'll do:

• Partner with product management as their market eyes and ears, shaping customer journeys, product strategies, and GTM plans.
• Own messaging, positioning, and content strategy to clearly articulate how Datadog solves critical AI security challenges.
• Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product to craft launch plans and drive awareness programs.
• Boost sales readiness by equipping teams with demos, battlecards, and resources for the full buyer journey.
• Conduct in-depth competitive market research on emerging AI threats like prompt injection and supply chain risks.
• Lead thought leadership initiatives with community and research teams to position Datadog as the AI security leader.
• Enable marketing campaigns that resonate with practitioners, analysts, and executives.
• Translate complex technical concepts into compelling, outcome-driven stories for diverse audiences.
• Iterate quickly in ambiguous, zero-to-one scenarios to test and refine strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

We're looking for a product marketing leader who combines technical depth with business acumen:

• 6+ years in Product Marketing, Product Management, or Sales Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience in AI, cybersecurity, or developer platforms.
• Strong knowledge of the AI model lifecycle (training to deployment) and threats like prompt injection, data/model poisoning, supply chain attacks, and exfiltration.
• Proven positioning and storytelling skills to convert technical features into business value.
• Ability to engage technical audiences while influencing executive buyers.
• Self-starter who excels in fast-paced, ambiguous settings and loves learning about AI's impact on security.

Bonus Points: Native AI security tech experience and comfort marketing to diverse stakeholders from practitioners to C-suite.
