Based in Austin, Texas or Boston, Massachusetts, you'll manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, driving MongoDB Atlas adoption and uncovering growth opportunities in NoSQL databases, AI workloads, and multi-cloud environments.

MongoDB powers nearly 60,000 customers including 75% of the Fortune 100, building the database for the AI era. As a RAM, you'll be the primary point of contact, responsible for success, education, enablement, upsell/cross-sell, and renewals. Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

  • Act as strategic advisor to customers, aligning MongoDB initiatives with their internal processes, bottlenecks, and corporate strategy
  • Proactively prospect and multi-thread relationships across customer organizations to expand MongoDB footprint
  • Negotiate renewals and expansions using MongoDB's proven sales methodology to protect and grow revenue
  • Drive feature adoption through enablement sessions, QBRs, and technical workshops showcasing MongoDB Atlas capabilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Professional Services, Solutions Architects, Product Management, and Marketing

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5+ years quota-carrying experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Sales roles
  • Consistent overachievement of sales targets, particularly renewals and upsells
  • Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex technical value propositions
  • Technical aptitude and passion for databases, cloud infrastructure, and MongoDB technology
  • Fast-paced environment experience with high organization and attention to detail
  • Team collaboration across GTM functions including Services and Marketing
