Today, we are recruiting for a Senior Scheduling Engineer to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Implement and support schedule management procedures and plans, ensuring consistent application of approved policies and procedures throughout the project.
• Prepare Primavera P6 project schedules, extracting progress information using the P6 tool.
• Develop resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules in P6.
• Create specific time schedules according to project phases.
• Coordinate the time schedule with the project team, analyzing, optimizing, and reporting deviations and conflicts.
• Support controlling activities to meet target dates across various technical fields, in collaboration with consortium partners and on-site staff.
• Continuously gather feedback from different project managers and site staff, evaluating the impact on progress, deadlines, and contractual milestones.
• Conduct progress analysis by comparing actual progress with planned schedules and prepare earned value reports.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly progress reports for the client, including internal and external time schedule reports, such as deviation analysis, MTAs, S-curves, variance reports, critical path reports, and resource reports.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• PMP, or similar project management certifications are advantageous.
• 5 to 8 years of planning & scheduling experience in Mega projects, preferably with previous experience in the railway industry.
• experience with Primavera P6, along with a strong understanding of project management tools and techniques.
• Experience in preparing submissions to meet contractual requirements.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
