Siemens Financial Services IT (SFS IT) is establishing a Tech Hub in India to enhance our digital capabilities and drive innovation. The Tech Hub will play a crucial role in supporting our global operations and ensuring business continuity. Hence we are looking to hire IT developers in India, to carry out development activites for critical IT applications used in SFS companies across the globe.

We are looking for: Senior Snowflake & BI Developer,

You’ll make an impact by:

• Spearhead end-to-end report development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production deployment
• Design and implement sophisticated data models and architecture that ensure optimal performance and maintainability (SQL, Snowflake, dbt cloud)
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of reporting solutions
• Drive technical perfection in BI developments through best practices, innovation, and mentorship of junior team members
• Serve as a technical advisor & sparring partner to business stakeholders, translating complex requirements into practical solutions
• Develop robust testing frameworks and support business in the implementation of data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and report reliability

Use your skills to move the world forward!

·       Minimum 5+ years of experience in Snowflake and advanced BI, with a total work experience of 10–15 years.

• Advanced SQL development experience with demonstrated expertise in complex query optimization
• Extensive experience with cloud-based data warehouse technologies, particularly Snowflake
• Hands-on proficiency in modern data warehouse automation tools (dbt, DataVault Builder, WhereScape)
• Proven proficiency in modern programming languages (Python preferred)
• Solid command of data modeling principles and guidelines (Datavault, Kimball /Dimensional Modelling)
• 5+ years of BI development experience in regulated industries (financial services, insurance, or healthcare)
• Advanced experience with development and teamwork tools (Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio)
• Knowledge of modern BI visualization tools (ideally PowerBI) and standards
• Analytical mindset
