Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer in Bangalore, you will spearhead the development of FSR, LSR+, and related portals. This full-time role focuses on creating brand-differentiated customer experiences (CX) for Ford and Lincoln owners, efficient dealer experiences (DX) for managing Mobile Service and Pickup & Delivery, and intuitive tools for Mobile Service Technicians. Work on scalable, high-impact systems in a dynamic automotive tech environment, leveraging modern tech stacks to drive Ford's digital ecosystem forward.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve hands-on engineering and leadership in mission-critical projects:

• Design, develop, and deploy features for FSR and LSR+ to provide consistent, premium CX for service scheduling and management.
• Optimize DX tools enabling dealers to efficiently handle Mobile Service and Pickup & Delivery appointments.
• Enhance the Mobile Service Technician Portal app for real-time appointment viewing and management.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to iterate on user-centric solutions.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through CI/CD pipelines and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, you need:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with focus on full-stack or backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms like AWS.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React.js/Angular), RESTful APIs, and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and automotive domain is a plus.
