Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

• Design and build new features for MongoDB Atlas, enhancing multi-cloud database capabilities.
• Lead complex technical projects from ideation to production deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute the Atlas roadmap.
• Partner with customers and support teams to diagnose and fix critical issues swiftly.
• Join the on-call rotation to maintain 99.99% uptime for global clusters.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as a Senior Software Engineer in Atlas Clusters, you need proven expertise in modern software engineering. We're seeking candidates with:

• 6+ years of professional experience building large-scale, distributed backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in compiled languages like Go, Java, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Demonstrated leadership in launching and maintaining production modules.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills for tough, real-world challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaborative spirit.
