Key Responsibilities at Datadog

• Design, build, and deliver scalable frontend features for Datadog’s core observability products used by global enterprises.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define user experiences, data flows, and APIs.
• Lead technical discussions and contribute to long-term architectural decisions for frontend systems.
• Improve performance, reliability, and accessibility of user-facing applications handling massive real-time data.
• Set and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, and maintainability across engineering teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building production-grade frontend applications at scale with high-traffic user bases.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and browser fundamentals.
• Proven track record of taking major features from concept to launch with minimal supervision.
• Effective communicator who can influence technical direction and collaborate across teams.
• Prioritizes user experience with an eye for UI quality, detail, and accessibility standards.
