Join MongoDB's Enterprise Advanced team as a Senior Software Engineer, Private Cloud Backup in Dublin, Ireland. This role focuses on building mission-critical backup infrastructure for MongoDB's private cloud deployments. Work with a diverse team across Europe and India to deliver fault-tolerant, globally distributed MongoDB clusters that deploy in minutes on any infrastructure.
The Backup Team powers customer recovery with point-in-time restoration at scale. You'll work on the Backup Agent (Go), robust Java server-side infrastructure managing 100s of TB and billions of operations daily, and JavaScript user interfaces. Key themes: performance optimization, massive scaling, and seamless user experience. This position offers remote flexibility within Ireland or onsite in our Dublin office.
