Key Responsibilities at Datadog

  • Support the preparation of global tax provisions, including current and deferred tax calculations under ASC 740 standards.
  • Assist with international tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, coordinating seamlessly with external advisors.
  • Manage indirect tax compliance (VAT/GST/SUT), including reviewing filings, supporting audits, and handling regulatory inquiries.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis on international, indirect, and corporate tax topics; draft comprehensive documentation of findings.
  • Support global tax audits by preparing detailed schedules, responding to information requests, and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to align processes and ensure accurate, timely tax reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • CPA or chartered accountant (or working toward certification) with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of progressive experience in public accounting (Big 4 or equivalent) and/or corporate tax roles.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and international corporate tax compliance, ASC 740, indirect taxes, and global frameworks like OECD Pillar 2.
  • Exceptional analytical and documentation skills with a highly detail-oriented approach.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced tech environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across teams and time zones.
