Join Datadog's Customer Education & Training team as a Senior Technical Curriculum Developer - Cloud Infrastructure. This remote position in California, United States offers a unique opportunity to create exceptional learning content for cloud engineering professionals using Datadog's world-class monitoring and security platform. You'll develop hands-on labs, workshops, certifications, and courses delivered through the Datadog Learning Center. Work closely with engineering and product teams while gaining deep hands-on experience with cloud technologies like GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and more that Datadog monitors.

Key Responsibilities at Datadog

• Partner with cloud engineering and product teams to produce high-quality training courses for Datadog's customer and partner curriculums
• Collaborate with team members to evaluate customer training requirements and create roadmaps with clearly scoped courses and learning paths
• Create versatile courses suitable for both self-paced online programs and instructor-led training
• Develop comprehensive supplemental materials including workshops, hands-on labs, and webinars
• Maintain and improve technical lab environments using the Instruqt hands-on lab platform
• Mentor existing staff in cloud engineering best practices, instructional design, and technical collaboration
• Work hands-on with Datadog-monitored cloud technologies (GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, service mesh)
• Continuously enhance the Datadog Learning Center and customer education offerings
• Transform complex DevOps and cloud infrastructure topics into engaging educational content

Qualifications & Requirements

Datadog seeks experienced professionals passionate about cloud engineering education:

• 5+ years as technical curriculum developer, software developer, or DevOps professional creating online learning, hands-on labs, and instructor-led materials for cloud audiences
• Hands-on experience building learning content for DevOps professionals in cloud environments (Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, service mesh)
• Comfortable coding in at least one programming language (Python, Java, .NET languages, Go, JavaScript)
• Proven passion for turning dry technical topics into engaging materials
• Experience improving training operations, Learning Center design, efficiency, and internal tooling

Salary & Benefits

The estimated yearly salary for this Senior Technical Curriculum Developer role is $162,000 - $180,000 USD, plus competitive equity. Actual compensation considers skills, experience, and qualifications.
