Key Responsibilities at Datadog

• Own the Knowledge Systems roadmap: Strategically plan and evolve programs across the entire TS Organization to support cloud monitoring and security initiatives.
• Implement scalable KM processes: Oversee systems for knowledge creation, capture, dissemination, and continuous updates tailored to observability and DevOps workflows.
• Drive everboarding excellence: Collaborate with stakeholders to enable Technical Solutions teams with ongoing learning for Datadog's latest cloud-native features.
• Establish content governance: Create policies for creation, updates, and archiving to keep the knowledge base accurate and comprehensive for cloud application monitoring.
• Leverage AI innovations: Automate knowledge management, curating our extensive knowledge-base in real-time to enhance customer experience and product adoption.
• Build cross-functional partnerships: Work with technical support, writers, product teams, and experts to align on shared DevOps observability goals.
• Champion KM adoption: Influence senior stakeholders, advocate for information-sharing culture, and secure resources for sustained growth.
• Measure and iterate: Use metrics and user feedback loops to refine KM and AI enhancements, ensuring measurable impact on cloud security and monitoring.
• Communicate effectively: Deliver status updates, risks, and achievements tailored to technical teams, executives, and cross-functional groups.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as a Senior Technical Program Manager at Datadog, you need proven expertise in technical program management within SaaS environments. Key qualifications include:

• 5+ years leading complex programs: Experience managing cross-functional, portfolio-based initiatives in support, sales, or professional services.
• Data-driven mindset: Proficiency in quantitative/qualitative analysis to guide decisions and iterate on knowledge management strategies.
• Technical foundation: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, with familiarity in cloud observability and DevOps tools.
• PM mastery: Strong in scope, schedule, cost, risk management; PMP, Agile certifications preferred.
• Communication prowess: Convey complex ideas to diverse audiences from engineers to C-suite executives.
• Influential collaborator: Build partnerships without authority to drive alignment in dynamic, growth-oriented settings.
