Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

• Provide hands-on support and guidance to strategic MongoDB customers, focusing on day-to-day resolution and proactive progress.
• Collaborate with teams to identify, characterize, solve, and recover from technical problems raised to support.
• Resolve issues through diligent research, reproduction, troubleshooting, and analysis using industry-standard and custom MongoDB tools.
• Develop standard troubleshooting methodologies across technologies and create Knowledge Articles for self-serve portals.
• Review and test pre-release features, producing internal and customer-facing assets like FAQs and documentation.
• Proactively improve business processes and policies to enhance efficiency.
• Serve as technical subject-matter expert and focal point for assigned customers' Atlas deployments.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers while cross-training peers on specialty topics.
• Gather field feedback and engage engineering, product, sales, and marketing teams via data-driven reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years in technical support, cloud operations, database engineering, or related fields.
• US Citizenship required for this position.
• Local to Palo Alto for hybrid weekend support model.
• Expertise in MongoDB Atlas, core database server, search technologies, Compass, and BI connectors.
• Proficiency with complementary technologies like Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, microservices, DevOps, cloud security.
• Exceptional analytical skills and customer service orientation.
• Experience building knowledge bases and advocating for customer needs.

Master modern architecture patterns while working with "big data" and "web-scale" systems daily.
