The Senior Therapeutic Specialist, PBC / HCV position in the Denver South territory, covering Southern Colorado, is a pivotal sales role focused on Gilead's innovative products for Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV). In this field-based position, you will represent Gilead's portfolio to healthcare professionals, driving sales growth while fostering strong relationships. As a Senior Therapeutic Specialist, your core duties include generating sales within your geographic area, achieving or exceeding targets through face-to-face interactions with healthcare practitioners. You'll build enduring partnerships by providing timely disease awareness, clinical updates, and insights into healthcare changes. Developing territory business plans, managing budgets for customer contacts, grants, and events, and partnering with Medical Scientists, National Account Managers, and Marketing teams are essential. Compliance is paramount: you'll adhere to PhRMA, OIG, and Gilead guidelines while reporting adverse events and maintaining meticulous administrative records. Demonstrate peer leadership by modeling integrity, teamwork, and excellence in all interactions.
Success in this role requires advanced influencing skills, a proven sales record, and deep knowledge of PBC, HCV, Gilead products, and competitors. Candidates must excel in presentations, possess passion for scientific learning, and thrive autonomously to surpass goals. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, alongside experience in pharmaceutical sales. Strong understanding of federal regulations like the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, and FDA guidelines is critical.
