What are we looking for?

At SentinelOne, we’re transforming the developer platform to offer a unified Developer Experience. To help us achieve that, we’re seeking a Staff (techlead-level) SW / Infrastructure Engineer for a new key role that will participate in this transformation and help define the next generation of our platform - serving dozens of teams and nearly 1000 engineers at the company.

• You’ll be a key player in our ambitious initiative to design and implement secure, scalable, reliable Developer Platform & APIs, built using modern technologies and approaches. This Developer Platform exists on top of our Infrastructure Platform, and its APIs need to provide both a unified customer-friendly developer experience and internal infrastructure service protection.
• You’ll put into use your strong experience with IDP / DevEx fundamentals, including developing infrastructure platform services that enable scalability, efficiency, automation, and ease of use for internal developers. You will also employ your deep proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and tools at a large scale - as you will help to shape how services are built, deployed, and managed across S1. Apart from these services or standardised flows, our team also provides a Developer Catalogue, built on top of technologies like Backstage.
• Strong ownership - In this role, you will work with multiple engineering and PM leaders and teams across the S1 engineering organization on this initiative. We value collaboration, innovation, creativity, and technical excellence in our area.
• At S1, you’ll deal with the scale of globally deployed SaaS cybersecurity products, across 6 AWS/GCP regions and GovCloud, that altogether process daily 9+ Petabytes of data ingests and 3+ Trillion security events from tens of millions of endpoints & cloud environments we protect at our enterprise & public sector clients across the globe, including 4 of the Fortune 10 and hundreds of Global 2000 companies.

What will you do?

• Help create the Future: Dive deep into our current developer platform, identify pain points, and design innovative solutions to address them in an iterative way toward a shared vision. Participate in design and development of a new architecture that supports scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence.
• Modernize the Stack: Collaborate with architects and teams to evaluate and implement the right tools, frameworks, and methodologies for building a robust, user-centric developer platform.
• Hands-on Development: Write high-quality, production-ready code.
• Mentor and Lead: Guide and mentor other engineers, contribute to their professional growth, share best practices and architectural insights, and foster a culture of engineering excellence. Your involvement increases the overall quality, whether you wrote it directly, reviewed it, or had a hand in designing it.
• Collaborate Across Teams and Orgs: Partner with engineering, architects, product, design, quality, DevOps / Infra teams, and leadership to align on objectives, design, timelines, and execution strategies.

Our stack: Go, Python; Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, FedRAMP; GitHub Actions, ArgoCD; GitHub Enterprise; depending on the requirements of the service for communication, we use Kafka, REST API, GraphQL, gRPC, etc.; Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse; Prometheus/Thanos, Grafana

What experience or knowledge should you bring?

• Expertise in Developer Platform / DevEx fundamentals and infrastructure platform services design
• Proficiency in Golang, experience with Python is a plus
• Deep proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins) in large-scale environments
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP) and Kubernetes
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong ownership and accountability, with proven experience driving large, impactful projects
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts and influence engineering direction across teams, departments, and stakeholders in multiple time zones

Salary starting from 5500 EUR/month
Annual bonus based on company performance, paid in two installments
The final base salary may be adjusted based on the individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
