This high-impact individual contributor role reports to the Digital Acquisition Marketing team and focuses on dominating Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT and Google SGE, while building authentic presence across Reddit, Stack Overflow, Medium, and G2.

Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

• Lead LLM Growth Initiatives: Own SEO/AEO strategies across distributed channels to maximize MongoDB's visibility in AI responses.
• Community Engagement Mastery: Drive audience programs on Reddit, Stack Overflow, G2, and Wikipedia using optimization tactics.
• Evangelize SEO Tactics: Create guidelines and train Developer Relations, Marketing, and SMEs on token-friendly, LLM-optimized content.
• UGC Advocacy Coordination: Orchestrate timely, high-quality responses across platforms to boost positive sentiment and LLM citations.
• Performance Analytics: Build reporting on community impact, LLM visibility, and attribution to MongoDB Atlas customer acquisition.
• Strategic Community Building: Execute 'build in public' tactics and user-driven advocacy for developer mindshare.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Influence teams without direct reports to scale MongoDB's brand in high-citation communities.
• Tool Proficiency: Leverage Search Console, Profound, Conductor, Jira, Reddit Mod Tools, and social listening platforms.
• Developer-Focused Content: Craft strategies influencing technical decision-makers with NoSQL and MongoDB expertise.
• AI Search Domination: Optimize for ChatGPT, Google SGE, and emerging answer engines to drive organic growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as MongoDB's SEO/AEO Community Growth Lead, you need proven expertise in developer communities and AI-driven search:

• 8+ years in community management, SEO, digital strategy, or technical content marketing (developer-focused orgs preferred).
• Exceptional cross-functional influence across Developer Relations, Marketing, and engineering teams.
• Track record communicating complex SEO/AEO metrics to executives with clear business impact.
• Experience scaling brand presence in large communities like Reddit and Stack Overflow with cultural authenticity.
• Proficiency in Jira, Search Console, Profound, Conductor, and social listening tools (Sprinklr, CommonRoom).
• Deep knowledge of organic content's role in developer mindshare and technical decision-making.
• Strong analytics skills to translate LLM data into growth strategies for MongoDB Atlas.

Preferred: Reddit moderation experience, content style guides, technical writing management, and NoSQL/MongoDB familiarity.
