Role Overview

The Service & Repair Associate II - B Shift position in Riverview, FL, is a hands-on role within Cardinal Health's manufacturing division. This full-time position operates on a Monday-Friday schedule from 1:00pm to 9:00pm, offering a consistent afternoon shift with an included shift differential. Associates in this role are essential to our Product Support, Service, and Repair team, handling the decontamination, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of Cardinal Health medical devices. You'll operate multiple machines, conduct routine inspections, report defects, and ensure parts are properly binned for transport—all while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. This entry-to-mid-level position requires applying acquired knowledge to standard tasks under moderate supervision, with opportunities for problem-solving and growth in a dynamic healthcare manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you'll contribute directly to the reliability and performance of medical devices used in patient care. Key responsibilities include:

• Decontaminating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Cardinal Health medical devices to ensure they meet operational standards.
• Assisting with triaging, diagnosis, testing, functional testing, calibration, and repair processes.
• Performing basic electronic component assembly and disassembly with precision and competence.
• Maintaining adequate stock levels and proper handling of equipment, materials, consumables, and spare parts.
• Proactively anticipating equipment needs, setting priorities, and completing assigned tasks efficiently.
• Complying with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 1-2 years of related work experience in service, repair, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of customer complaint handling processes.
• Background in IPC standards for electronics assembly.
