Position Summary

We're seeking a talented ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team at Sonoco Performance Hub in India. This mid-level role focuses on developing, configuring, and maintaining our ServiceNow platform to support enterprise-wide IT service management (ITSM), HR service delivery, and business process automation. You'll play a key role in transforming how Sonoco leverages ServiceNow to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow applications including custom apps, modules, and integrations
• Configure workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies to meet business requirements
• Implement ITIL best practices for incident, problem, change, and service request management
• Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP web services, MID Servers, and Integration Hub
• Perform platform upgrades, testing, and optimization to ensure high availability and performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide ServiceNow expertise
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide production support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification (Developer certification preferred)
• 3-5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting
• Experience with Service Portal, Performance Analytics, and Flow Designer
• Strong understanding of ITIL framework and ITSM processes
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
