Description

SGS is seeking a keen and enthusiastic person to fill a Casual Multiskilled team member role at our laboratory in Orange. Our culture is a focused and supportive one, and we are genuinely committed to making it a great place to work for all employees. Good literacy, team playing, attention to detail and initiative are required. Full training is provided.

Responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

• Match samples delivered with supplied paperwork and detailing samples additional or not received.
• Load and unload samples onto drying racks and maintain numerical order.
• Responsible for milling samples and transferring sub-samples to sample packets in correct numerical order while following established Quality Control procedures and avoiding contamination.
• Understanding of the sample analysis procedures.

Qualifications

The successful applicant will have:

• Qualifications and experience whilst desirable, are not essential
• Forklift Licence  (Preferred)
• Proficient with Microsoft suite
• Teamwork and cooperation with effective communication
• Physically fit due to required tasks.
• Meet site access requirements (ie: training, induction and medical requirements)
