Perform in-service, out-of-service, and on-stream inspections of above-ground storage tanks.
Assess tank condition in accordance with API 653, API 650, and client specifications.
Conduct detailed inspections of tank bottoms, shells, roofs, nozzles, annular plates, and foundations.
Evaluate corrosion, pitting, settlement, and mechanical damage.
Review inspection data, corrosion rates, and remaining life calculations.
Determine repair, alteration, and reconstruction requirements as per API 653.
Verify repair procedures, welding activities, and welder qualifications.
Witness and inspect NDT activities (UT thickness measurements, MT, PT, RT).
Review and approve inspection reports, repair recommendations, and fitness-for-service evaluations.
Ensure hydrostatic testing, vacuum box testing, and settlement monitoring are conducted as required.
Maintain accurate inspection records and update tank inspection history files.
Coordinate with operations, maintenance, contractors, and third-party inspection agencies.
Ensure all inspection activities comply with HSE requirements and site safety procedures.
