Description

• Conduct soil, rock and concrete analysis in accordance with standards such as BS, ASTM and AASHTO.
• Perform tests such as particle size distribution, Atterberg limits, Proctor compaction, moisture content, UCS, Point Load, Direct Shear test and others related to soil, Rock, concrete and aggregate test.
• Ensure the accuracy and repeatability of results through careful calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
• Conduct on-site material testing to assess field conditions and compliance with design requirements.
• Responsible for conduct on-site testing at construction sites to ensure materials are up to required standards and report findings to site engineers and supervisors. (Field Density, In situ CBR, Infiltration test, packer test and Plate Load Test)
• Ensures effective implementations of QMS and responsible to inhouse verification of soil and concrete testing equipment’s.
• Prepare factual reports based on test results and field conditions. 

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Soil Mechanics and Geology, and related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience as Soil lab technician in ISO 17025:2017 accredited Geotechnical Laboratory.
• Experience in laboratory and field testing related to geotechnical or construction material.
• Familiarity with BS, ASTM, and AASHTO standards
• Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office. 
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
