Key Responsibilities Include:

• Perform analytical testing and sample preparation using a range of laboratory instruments, including ICP, FIA, GC/GC-MS, LC/LC-MS, Discrete Analyser, and wet chemistry methods, while accurately reporting and interpreting results.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and NATA accreditation requirements.
• Support day-to-day laboratory operations, working with section leaders to meet turnaround times and implement process improvements.
• Assist in method development, validation, and technical troubleshooting in collaboration with the Quality Manager and technical staff.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and workspace, including scheduled calibration and adherence to safety protocols.
• Continuously develop skills and knowledge to support operational excellence and contribute to laboratory improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in science.
• Solid experience in environmental laboratory work, including hands-on experience with instrument analysis.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and working.
