Primary Responsibilities:

  • Daily operations of the lab, incoming sample processing, maintaining calibration of equipment
  • Ensuring health and safety processes and procedures are followed, maintenance of a safe, ergonomically sound, professional work environment.
  • Responsible for on time delivery of test reports free of errors and meet customer expectations. delivery of jobs
  • Implement efficiency improvement, process improvement, and 5 S processes

Profile of the position (Responsibilities):

  • Responsible for daily testing of the laboratory
  • Oversee safety, ergonomics, maintenance, and cleanliness of department (including upgrades, repairs, etc.)
  • Oversee implementation of SOPs for incoming sample processing in accordance with company policy
  • Oversee/Ensure all processed documentation is complete and reviewed as required
  • Ensure sample workflow from logistics meets the needs of the department
  • Monitor special handling of identified clients
  • Must be able to establish a positive work environment that actively encourages and supports employee involvement
  • Track/enter time/attendance of employees
  • Prepare month-end reports
  • Investigates/resolves and responds to client complaints
  • Responsible to ensure company policies are followed
  • Effectively work with internal departments to resolve problems. Must have interpersonal skills to gain cooperation with other departments, and foster continuous improvements
  • Strong written and spoken English skills, other languages will be an advantage
  • Persuasive, diplomatic, but always to the point and a strong ability to sell a concept
  • Hands-on, open-minded, proactive team player

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • College Degree Preferred with emphasis on Mechanical engineering background
  • With 1-2 working experiences in Bike industry is preferable
  • Bachelor’s degree desired but not required
  • At least 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred
  • Computer skills, MS Office applications
  • The ability to effectively work with internal departments to resolve problems. Must have interpersonal skills and foster continuous improvements
  • Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and is able to manage client and employee concerns and expectations in a professional manner
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
  • Able to organize projects within the department and with cross functional departments
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willing to work under pressure

Pay Range: $60,000-$80,000/ year
