Position Summary

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and Team Lead on 1st shift, you'll ensure efficient, safe product movement from production lines to warehouse storage. Base pay starts at $22.04/hour in this fast-paced manufacturing environment. Safety is #1, with excellent attendance essential for team success. Ideal for detail-oriented professionals with warehouse experience, forklift skills, and a 'get it done' attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety in all tasks and maintain 5S standards
• Quickly move product to designated pack outs and supply materials to packing areas
• Monitor product quality, spot defects, and report issues
• Verify inventory levels, assist with counts, and handle paperwork accurately
• Troubleshoot problems, collaborate across departments, and support as needed
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and adhere to Sonoco's quality/safety policies

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years forklift experience; manufacturing/warehouse background preferred
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs; work overtime as needed
• Strong communication, math skills, and attention to detail
• Self-motivated, team player with urgency in fast-paced settings
• Read/understand shop orders, production docs, and instructions
• Reliable attendance, initiative, and quality focus
